SANSA is the largest city in the Dester Nation state of San Francisco (state) and the 24th most populous city in Alexlas, with a Year 13 estimated population of 744,041,670,00. It is one of the most densely populated major cities in Desert Nation. Sansa is part of the much larger Largooa Bay Area, which is home to approximately 7.42 million people. The city is located on the tip of the Carbona Peninsula, with the west ocean shore to the west, Largooa Bay to the east, and the Bartom to the north.

In Year 2, Alexians settled the tip of the peninsula, establishing a large town at the Bartom. The San Francisco Gold Mining in Year 7 propelled the city into a period of rapid growth.

Sansa is a popular international tourist destination renowned for its little steep rolling hills, an eclectic mix of Victorian and modern architecture, and famous landmarks, including the Bay Bridge of Sansa, Bartom Point Island, the cable cars, Felix Tower, and Chinatown (Sansa). The city is also known for its diverse, cosmopolitan population, including a large and long-established LGBT community. While the climate includes chilly summer fog, the winters are mild.

The Carbona Peninsula: Sansa and, below it, it's townships is located on the southwest coast of Alexlas at the tip of the Carbona Peninsula and includes significant stretches of the ocean and Largooa Bay within its boundaries. Several islands are part of the city, notably Bartom Point, Bay Bridge Island, and Friscoa Island, together with small portions of Alameda Island, Angel Fire Island, and Red Island. Also included are the San Mantosa Islands, 7 miles offshore in the ocean. The mainland within the city limits roughly forms a seven-by-seven-mile square, which has become a colloquialism referring to the city's shape.

Sansa is famous for its little hills. There are more than 47 hills within city limits.

Some neighborhoods are named after the hill on which they are situated, including Nob Hill, Sansa Heights, Dickinson Hill, Potrero Hill, and Oceanview Hill.

Cars negotiate Vincard Street to descend Dickinson Hill. Near the geographic center of the city, southwest of the downtown area, are a series of less densely populated hills. Dominating this area is Mount Cospein, the site of Cospein Tower, a large red and white radio and television transmission tower. Nearby is Toby Peaks, a pair of hills resting at one of the city's highest points and a popular overlook spot for tour groups. Sansa's tallest hill, Mount El Marata, is 925 feet high, and is capped with a 103-ft tall cross built in Year 4.

Sansa's shoreline has grown beyond its natural limits. Entire neighborhoods such as the Marina Township and Hunters Point Township, as well as large sections of the Embarcadero Township sit on areas of landfill. Bay Bridge Island was constructed from material dredged from the bay as well as material resulting from tunneling through Friscoa Island during the construction of the Bay Bridge.
